What is Respite Care?
We know how important it is for a primary caregiver to have a trusted person take care of your loved one when you take a much-needed break. Our respite care is temporary care that provides family caregivers relief from the full-time care they have been providing for a loved one. At Plus Point Care, our services are contract-free and can be arranged temporarily.
How our Respite Care works
Our Care management will come to spend time with you and your loved one in your home setting. This allows us to know you and your loved one and also observe your daily routines. We will craft a tailored care plan with you. The care plan will have clear instructions on we will care for and support you. We ensure that our respite services reflect your usual care and support.
During our time with your loved one, we ensure that there is communication between you and our care team. This is done to keep you informed and confident in our care. We aim to allow you to relax knowing that your loved one is safe with us.
How our Respite care is structured
We offer a wide range of flexible respite care services. Our visits can be once-off visits, or regular visits to give the primary caregiver a break from their caring duties. We can also provide our services when there is a crisis and care is required as soon as possible.
Respite care can be for an hour or two per week, or it could be for several weeks whilst the caregiver goes on a vacation.
